Gifted Renewal Task Force

The School District of Cheltenham Township is convening a Gifted Renewal Task Force. This team of volunteers will spend several months in 2010 examining the services we provide to gifted students in light of current research into best practices.

At the January 19, 2010, meeting of the Board’s Educational Affairs Committee, Gerald Aungst presented an overview of the task force’s purpose and goals. You may view the presentation here:

The first meeting of the Task Force will be taking place on March 11, 2010. Periodic updates on the progress of the Task Force will be posted here on this blog. There will also be opportunities for other members of the Cheltenham family to contribute to our work through surveys and focus group interviews.     Thanks for sharing the presentation. I am sorry I was unable to attend the meeting. I’m impressed with the aggressive timeline.
